Tile, LVP and laminate
Tile. Porcelain and ceramic tile, including large-format marble-look and wood-look plank tile. On large tiles we use leveling clips to keep the edges flat, and we lay out the room so cuts land at walls and doorways instead of in the middle of the floor.
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP). Waterproof, quiet underfoot and a common choice for South Florida homes and rentals. It goes down quickly over a flat slab and holds up well to humidity.
Laminate. A wood look at a lower cost for bedrooms and living areas that don't see standing water.
Tile or LVP?
Tile is the most durable choice for kitchens, bathrooms and anywhere that sees water or sand tracked in from the pool or beach. LVP is warmer and quieter underfoot, and a damaged plank is easier to swap out. Many South Florida homes use both: tile in wet areas, plank in bedrooms. We'll talk through what fits your budget and where each one makes sense.
Prep is most of the job
Most flooring problems come from what's underneath: old adhesive, humps and dips in the slab, or a floor that was never flat. We remove the old flooring, grind or patch high and low spots, and pour self-leveler where it's needed before anything new goes down. Then we finish properly: transitions at doorways, door casings undercut so the floor slides underneath, and new baseboards or the old ones reinstalled.
Houses, condos and commercial spaces
We install floors in single rooms, whole houses, condos, rentals and commercial spaces like clubhouses. If you're also remodeling a kitchen or bathroom, we can run the same floor through so the house flows from room to room.
Have a few cracked or loose tiles rather than a whole floor? That's tile repair. More finished floors are in the project gallery.
